you have to be part of Yahoo! Mail Plus where you pay $20 yearly and then you can use Outlook Express because it gives you POP access

The "Best Answer" is incorrect and missed the fact that YPOPs is being used. YPOPs is an interface that allows Yahoo users to access their Yahoo mail accounts using POP3 mail clients without subscribing to Yahoo Plus. You probably need to update your version of YPOPs. Report It
